All you need to do is submit an original photo of your "Tot" age 8 and under to fans@poshmomsandtots.com. On the last day of each month, we'll select a winner (official rules available upon request).
On the first day of the month the winning photo will then be featured in the "Tot of the Month" section on the home page at www.poshmomsandtots.com . Winners are selected one month in advance of the month they will be featured. For example, we will select a winner on September 30th for our featured "Tot of the Month" for the month of November.

This weekend was a busy one for us. We took a last minute road trip on Friday and yet again the iTouch came to the rescue! My daughter stays busy almost the entire time in the car whether she is playing educational Apps, watching her favorite cartoon episodes, or a movie that I rented from iTunes.
My favorite are the educational Apps because you can keep your child occupied and learning for hours!
This morning I have been on the search for some new ones to keep things interesting!
While reading some other blogs I found that Treasures for Tots loves these for her daughter: is a wonderful story about Miss Spider looking for a bug to have tea with her (they are scared of her 'cause she's a spider after all!), an interactive story that's lots of fun, and games like memory match, puzzles and painting. Definitely a good buy!
Olivia (2.99) - Lots of fun painting, and then the paintings become animated. All right!
Super Why (2.99) - First you pick your Super Hero character, then you learn to spell (and write) in a interesting way. It teaches her to listen to a story and then find the correct answers.
Spanish while playing jump rope.
K-Magic (FREE) - All of K-Magic's Apps are wonderful and FREE! then you "rinse", "dry" and last you "brush" the dog until it's "all sparkly clean"! If you buy the App you'll get more dogs - but for toddlers and preschoolers I think the free App is just fine to keep them interested.
Kid's Maze (99¢) - A neat labyrinth game that helps them to count and teaches hand/eye coordination. It takes some concentration and it holds her attention.
BalloonMaker (99¢) - Cute, fun, and what kid can resist balloons? Touch the screen to blow up a balloon - touch the balloon to pop it. Turn the iTouch to watch the balloons "float" to the top too!
Bert's Bag ($2.99) - Use your finger to open the bag, shake the iTouch to make the bag dump the stuff inside, then touch the objects to count them. Kids have to learn to listen to directions, and it teaches them how to count. Another fun interactive educational game.
Fish School (99¢) - Tap the screen to get the fish to form different letters, then a woman's pleasant voice "sings" out each letter. Touch the letters in the left-hand corner and the narrator tells you what the letter stands for: J is for jellyfish. Cute game. options! Lots of FREE fun!
Count TV ($2.99) - Sesame Street's The Count goes through 9 different interactive Sesame Street videos (some from really old shows) and teaches your child to count up to nine. Very entertaining!

Glow Coloring (FREE) - So neat! Change neon colors, use stamps, use your own pictures, and more. You can pay 99¢ to remove the ads too.
Mega Jump (99¢) - Crazy, wacky game that you tilt side to side to move the little guy and collect coins so he can jump high. The more coins you collect the higher he jumps.

Yesterday was the first day of Fall and I am excited!
I love Fall. It is my favorite season, followed closely by Spring! Fall means great fashion, cooler weather, and HALLOWEEN!
So, in the spirit of Halloween I have been feeling crafty. Look at these gilded pumpkins! What a great way to decorate for the season!

Ok.... So I must admit that I started this blog for the boutique and began following blogs that I came across that looked interesting to try to understand blogging better but I must say that I am really beginning to enjoy this!
Leslie @ A Blond Ambition (one of the blogs I follow) did a fun post yesterday on, "If you really knew me!" She had a fun idea of posting fun facts about each other. Nothing too deep, just random fun stuff! Apparently there is a new show on MTV that I will probably become addicted to if it's as good as it sounds. It's called, If you really knew me! Has anyone watched it?
If you really knew me, you'd know that...
~I LOVE New York City... I feel a feeling that I cannot describe when I am there. Like all is right with the world. I will probably move back one day when the time is right.
~I am not the best cook. I give it a good try but things just do not always turn out as planned. It's a work in progress!
~Fashion is a passion of mine. I LOVE every aspect from design to merchandising and marketing.
~I can walk down the streets of 5th Ave and stare at the window displays for hours. They are amazing!!!
~I am terrified of snakes. I mean DEATHLY afraid... yikes!
~I am a little OCD when it comes to liking everything to be organized and done on time.
~I love dogs... not so much of a cat person... partly because my lil one is allergic.
~ I generally only like to watch a movie once with a few exceptions, of course!
~ I love Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and Sweet Home Alabama. If one of those are on, I must watch it. These are my "exceptions"....
-Things I'm good at:
Shopping, quoting movies from the 80's (see above), Math (thus the degree in accounting), vacationing (people can be good at that right?!), being on time, Monopoly, Sudoku, and parallel parking.
-Things I can't do to save my life:
Sing...well, stop procrastinating, go to bed before 11 or midnight, or sleep in.
~I have a handful of really good friends in my life that I am so thankful for each day. I am a lucky, lucky girl!
